ROOM MATE LA X NATAL DESIGN ”MUSH ROOM MATE STOOL”
Our store, ROOM MATE, was created by us and our friends. Inspired by the name ROOM MATE, the character is based on a mushroom,
hence "MUSHROOMMATE." For this character, we collaborated with Japanese furniture craftsman Mr. YAN☆YAN.
In Ashikaga City, Tochigi Prefecture, resides Mr. YAN☆YAN, a skilled craftsman operating his own studio as a furniture artisan. While undertaking custom-made furniture such as tables and sofas, as well as interior designs for commercial spaces, Mr. YAN☆YAN has dedicated over a 20years to his lifelong passion: creating adorable and joyful mushroom chairs that have found homes around the world.
YAN☆YAN has crafted an original MUSHROOM design stool for ROOM MATE LA.
